PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum solid electrolytic capacitor which is thin and mountable and has a large electrostatic capacity, a small equivalent series resistance (ESR), and a low height. SOLUTION: In the aluminum solid electrolytic capacitor, a plate capacitor element made by sequentially forming a solid electrolyte layer made of a conductive polymer and a conductive layer on an aluminum foil formed with a dielectric oxide film on a surface is connected to a lead frame made of a metal having an anode lead and a cathode lead, and a outer case resin is provided. In this capacitor, the longitudinal and lateral sizes of the electrolyte layer are all at least 7 mm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
