PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high filler content resin composition of markedly improved melt flowability, a method for its preparation and its shaped article. SOLUTION: The tablet comprises a total mixture of 100 pts.wt. of (a) 1-50 wt% thermoplastic resin except a styrene resin and (b) 99-50 wt% filler and (c) a styrene resin of 0.1-20 pts.wt. The tablet is prepared by compression molding of a mixture of (a) a thermoplastic resin except a styrene resin, (b) a filler and (c) a styrene resin and (d) a mold release agent. The shaped article is prepared by melt molding of the tablet. The shaped article for the use of automobile parts, electric/electronic components or thermomechanical parts is prepared by injection molding, injection-compression molding or press molding of the tablet.
