PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher/dryer capable of always exhibiting an excellent washing effect by determining the shortage of a hardness component in an ion exchange tub based on the information such as the type of menu, that is the frequency of rinsing in the previous washing process, and by feeding water into the ion exchange tub prior to the washing process for filling the hardness component. SOLUTION: The dishwasher/dryer comprises a multi-menu selecting means for selecting a dishwashing menu from a plurality of dishwashing menus with different quantity of soft water prepared by a soft water supply means, a selected menu memory means for storing the information on the menu selected by the multi-menu selecting means, and a hardness component filling means for feeding tap water in a different quantity to the soft water preparation means according to the information on the previously selected menu stored in the selected menu memory means and filling the hardness component produced by an ion exchange means.
