PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine in which game progress can be securely controlled based on a signal of a game medium discharged into a game area and got a prize winning. SOLUTION: This game machine is equipped with a main board 31 to control game progress, a pay-off control board 37 to pay off prize balls, and a ball discharging device to discharge balls into a game area. The CPU 56 in the main board 31 is risen delayed from the pay-off control board 37 upon the power source is switched ON and a ball can not be shot by the ball shooting device until the CPU 56 is completely risen.
