RADIATION PROTECTION LAMINATE MATERIAL AND THE METHOD FOR PRODUCTION THEREOF

The invention relates to radiation protection materials and the methods for production thereof. The inventive radiation protection laminate material comprises at least one layer of woven material provided on both sides thereof with equal layers of elastic material reinforced with a polydispersed metal-containing mixture. The first layer contains filler with particle size ranging from 1.0 to 9.0 mkm, the second layer containing filler with particle size ranging from 9.0 to 100 mkm. The inventive method for producing said radiation protection laminate material consists in applying several layers of elastic material reinforced with a polydispersed metal-containing mixture to the woven material and in hardening each layer. Each layer is applied to the woven material simultaneously on two sides thereof by successively dipping it into a pseudoliquefied reinforced elastic material. The first layer is applied in a quantity of 8-12 % of the woven material mass, the ratio of the second layer with respect to the first layer being equal 1:3. The hardening of each layer is carried out at a temperature which increases step by step from 70 DEG C to 90 DEG C. Said radiation protection laminate material exhibits high operating characteristics and an extended scope.
