The fuel tank fastening structure for a motorcycle has the fuel tank (34) fastened to the body frame (20) by tubular elastic components which are arranged so that the axes of the elastic components extend in the lateral direction of the vehicle (10). At least one of the elastic components allows elastic support in the longitudinal direction and in the vertical direction of the vehicle and limits movement in the lateral direction. The remaining elastic components allow elastic support both in the longitudinal and in the vertical direction of the vehicle.
