PURPOSE: A method for providing a phone bill service using infrared rays is provided to present an authentication method to provide a phone bill service using infrared rays without the necessity of a special, complicated authentication algorithm. CONSTITUTION: A parameter 'IrDA_MIN' for a phone bill service using infrared rays is created and stored in a mobile terminal containing an infrared ray module(S100). If the mobile terminal is connected with a vending machine having an infrared ray module(S700), the mobile terminal transmits the IrDA_MIN parameter to the vending machine(S710). If the IrDA_MIN parameter is inputted to the vending machine, the vending machine compares the IrDA_MIN parameter to a list of bad credit dealers stored in a black list database. In case that a matched MIN(Mobile Identification Number) is not detected, the vending machine is activated so that the user can select goods(S720). If the user selects desired goods, the vending machine stores the transaction details(S730). The vending machine transmits the stored transaction details to a management server(S740). The management server adds the price of the goods to the bill of the mobile terminal(S750). |
