The control valve unit (1) for the control of at least one hydraulic user has a control valve (9) which is connected to a pump connection (P) and tank connection (T). The control valve has two connections (22,24) which by means of a distribution component (5) can be connected to the connections of the respective user. The distribution component is constructed as a distribution block (4) rotatable around a longitudinal axis (6). The control valve is installed inside the distribution block and in the form of a spool valve with a control spool (8) installed in a bore (7) co-axial to the longitudinal axis of the distribution block.
