PURPOSE: Upper end closed structure of a door trim for a vehicle is provided to secure an excellent closed state and to prevent a sound-absorbing and insulating pad from projecting into a gap between the outer end of an upper bent-up portion of the door trim and the inside of a door frame. CONSTITUTION: Upper end closed structure of a door trim(1) for a vehicle comprises a support bar(10) horizontally installed to the inside of an upper bent-up portion(2) of the door trim; a pad support piece(12) supported to the support bar; a sound-absorbing and insulting pad(16) attached to the pad support piece; and a stopper(18) installed to the outer surface of the pad support piece of the support bar. The pad support piece slides along the inner surface of the bent-up portion together with a coil spring(15). A sill is formed on the sound-absorbing and insulating pad and is adhered to a free end of a horizontal portion(14) of the pad support piece.
