<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical unit and an image forming apparatus whose maintenance work is easily performed. <P>SOLUTION: Several electrical base plates or the like 14, 15 and 16 attached to the apparatus body 20 of the image forming apparatus are constituted as one unit 25 attachable/detachable to/from the apparatus body in one direction of the apparatus body. Then, the electrical base plates or the like 14, 15 and 16 are aggregated into a unit, so that a worker reaches a desired electrical base plate from one direction.
