<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive recording material, with which a highly glossy and high quality image can be recorded under the state that a printing torque is lightened and consequently ununiform density is suppressed and, at the same time, the scumming of a head is improved, at a plurality of times of printing executed to one and the same surface at high speed and under high energy. <P>SOLUTION: This thermosensitive recording material is prepared by providing a thermosensitive recording layer and a protective layer including at least polyvinyl alcohol and two or more kinds of inorganic ultrafine particles having mean particle diameters different from one another on a support and, in addition, includes boric acid and a water-soluble zirconium compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
