<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can highly precisely and inexpensively perform the control for permitting or inhibiting use of a prescribed constitutional function. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming device, an image reading means reading an original image and a fingerprint reading means reading a fingerprint pattern of an operator on an operation are constituted in a common reading means. Scanning directions are varied at the time of reading the fingerprint pattern of the operator by the fingerprint reading means and at the time of reading the image by the image reading means. The device is also provided with an acquirement means acquiring operator information on the operator based on the fingerprint pattern which is read by the fingerprint reading means and a management means controlling permission or inhibition of use of the prescribed structure function constituting the image forming device based on operator information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
