<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of detecting a variation in impedance between a contact electrifying member and a photoreceptor with a simple and inexpensive consfiguration. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises: a thermistor 35C for detecting the ambient temperature of a photoreceptor drum 32C; a ROM 102b that stores a relation between the ambient temperature of the drum 32C and impedance between an electrifying roller 31C and the drum 32 as impedance characteristic data; and a CPU 102a that computes the impedance between the roller 31C and the drum 32 in reference to the impedance characteristic data stored in the ROM 102b on the basis of the ambient temperature of the drum 32C detected by the thermistor 35C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
