<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a both-side emission lighting unit suitable to irradiate two LCDs arranged and installed back to back on a housing of an electronic equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The main LCD2 is arranged and installed on one face of the housing 1 on the display part side, and an auxiliary LCD3 is arranged and installed back to back on another side. A light guide plate 4 widens light of a plurality of light sources 5 discretely arranged and installed adjacent to its side face along both sides of the light guide plate 4, and emits light from the both faces in the respective LCDs 2, 3 direction. Between the light guide plate 4 and the main liquid-crystal display panel 2, an optical sheet 6 having a function to improve the brightness and to scatter brightness unevenness is lamination arranged and installed. Between the light guide plate 4 and the auxiliary liquid-crystal display panel 3, a half-transmission/reflection sheet 7 having a function so that a part of the light is made to be transmitted and other part is made to be reflected is arranged and installed . <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
