<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise sale and stocking plan making system for achieving a brand sales target figure, and achieving the sales target figure of a store by ensuring merchandise to be used for a store face. <P>SOLUTION: This sale and stocking plan making system calculates the planned sales quantity of each style in the item of each sales-planned merchandise at each point of time within a predetermined period based on the brand sales target figure in a data storage part 10 and the demand trend of each style of the item of each sales-planned merchandise predicted based on the sales rate of each style of each sales-planned merchandise of a profile data storage part 14 and the demand of the consumer in a merchandise data storage part 12. Also, the system calculates the merchandise quantity of each style in the item of each merchandise necessary for each store at each point of time within the predetermined period based on the data of the face of the store stored in the face data storage part 18.
