<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient input device of a rotating manipulated variable suitable to incorporate in a small electronic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: Operation force applied by an operator with a two-dimensional sensor 100 is inputted in time series as coordinate values (x, y) in an XY two-dimensional cartesian coordinate system, and converted into coordinate values (r,θ) with a polar coordinate conversion part 200. When a value in the coordinate values (r,θ) obtained in time series is larger than the specified threshold rt, a manipulated variable recognition part 300 recognizes the coordinate values (r,θ) as a significant value, and within a period when significant coordinate values (r,θ) are continuously obtained, when the valueθcauses the variation▵θexceeding the specified thresholdθt to a value immediately beforeθbefore, a value corresponding to the variation▵θis recognized as a manipulated variable indicating rotation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
