<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving unit of an unmanned vehicle improved to make the vehicle itself travelable in a stable attitude. <P>SOLUTION: Each one of left and right driving wheels 21 constituting a front wheel and each one of left and right electric motors 22 for driving the driving wheels 21 are provided at a front side lower part of a frame 10 and each one of left and right driven wheels 16 is provided at a rear side lower part, to travel the vehicle by supporting the frame 10 in a horizontal attitude. A controller storing chamber 11 is formed between the left and right driven wheels 16 at the rear side lower part of the frame 10. A battery storing chamber 12 is formed between the driven wheels 16 and the driving wheels 21 at a center lower part of the frame 10. The left and right driving wheels 21 are supported on the frame 10 to be horizontally rotatable via a revolving shaft 25 together with the electric motors 22. Steering is performed by a difference of the number of rotation of the left side drive wheel 21 and the right side drive wheel 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
