PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bus duct that can mount a side board for connecting a bus duct unit with a joint in the bus duct unit easily. SOLUTION: The bus duct has a conductor 140 with several conductor boards having an insulation cover arranged in parallel and a housing 110 long enough to hold the conductor 140. The housing 110 is constituted by combining a pair of long parting pieces 110A and 110B. The split pieces 110A and 110B have a conductor housing 115 to form a space to hold the conductor 140 between both the split pieces 110A and 110B, a joint 120 that stretches into opposite direction from both opening verges of the conductor housing 115, a reinforcing part 130 that is orthogonal to the joint 120 in the edge of the joint 120, and an engaging projection 117 installed in an outer face of a conductor housing 115. The space to hold the conductor between both the split pieces is formed by jointing the joint 120 facing mutually both the split pieces 110A and 110B. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
