PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device and a received mail processing method for lightening a load on an operator required to select and delete received mails. SOLUTION: A plurality of received mails are recorded in a received mail record part 21 together with sender mail addresses of the respective mails. Among the plurality of received mails, sender mail addresses of mails deleted from the record part 21 together with the sender mail addresses based on predetermined conditions are recorded in a deleted mail record part 22. When a deleted mail determination part 32 determines that a sender mail address recorded in the record part 21 exists among the mail addresses recorded in the record part 22, a received mail processing part 37 deletes mails having the sender mail address determined to exist, together with the mail address from the record part 21.
