PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera provided with a focal plane shutter arranged in such a manner that the abrasion powder etc., can be adequately caught in a region near an imaging plane. SOLUTION: The focal plane shutter A constitutes two blade chambers by partitioning a shutter plate 3 and an auxiliary plate 4 from each other by means of an intermediate plate 5. A stationary imaging element 12 is so arranged that its imaging surface 12a faces an aperture 4a of the auxiliary plate 4. A tacky adhesive sheet 13 is attached to the auxiliary plate 4 on the outside of the blade chamber of the aperture 4a. The tacky adhesive sheet 13 is formed by directing its tacky adhesive toward the lens side so as to face the aperture 4a in a range where a photographing image frame is not affected. Therefore, the abrasion powder etc., which soar up in the blade chambers and come flying to the region near the imaging surface are adequately caught by the tacky adhesive surface and the amount of the abrasion powder etc., coming flying to the imaging surface and deposited on the surfaces is extremely reduced.
