PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a refrigerator changing a temperature set value according to the operation factor of a compressor 18. SOLUTION: This refrigerator is provided with a first series circuit 25 determining an operation start temperature for operating the compressor in a prescribed temperature range, and an operation stop temperature for stopping the compressor based on the set temperature set by a temperature setting means for setting the temperature of a refrigerating chamber, and the control device 20 for controlling the operation of the compressor based on the operation start temperature and operation stop temperature set by the first series circuit and the temperature of the refrigerating chamber detected by a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of the refrigerating chamber. The control device 20 measures the operating time and stop time of the compressor 18 to compute the operation factor of the compressor, and changes the temperature range band of the operation start temperature and operation stop temperature based on the computed operation factor.
