PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve a turbine performance by eliminating a flow for generating a secondary flow at a bottom portion of a rotor blade, and preventing a boundary layer from developing on an inner periphery of a shroud. SOLUTION: This vapor turbine has an impeller 1 comprising a main spindle 3, a disc 4 integrally installed to the main spindle 3, and a plurality of rotor blades 5 spaced on an outer periphery 4b of the disc 4 in an peripheral direction. A distance from a center of the main spindle 3 to the outer periphery 4b of the disc 4 is varied according to a static pressure distribution near a front edge 5a of the rotor blade 5.
