HEAD REST WITH MONITORING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head rest with a monitoring device having improved safety of an occupant. SOLUTION: The head rest has a head rest body 1 disposed on a seat of a vehicle, and the head rest body 1 is provided with the monitoring device 2 allowing hearing and looking from the rear side of the vehicle. The head rest has a compression spring 23 for absorbing displacement of the monitoring device 2 in the running direction of the vehicle when a load is applied on the monitoring device 2 from the rear side of the vehicle.
