PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin cooker having a high efficiency in receiving heat. SOLUTION: The cooker is provided with metal plates 8 and 7 so as to make contact with the upper and lower surfaces of a flat heater 2 made of a mica heater or the like, the inside of the flat heater 2 is provided with an opening portion 2a, and the lower metal plate 7 is formed with a protruded portion 7a making contact with the upper metal plate 8 through the opening portion 2a of the heater 2 to conduct heat between the upper and lower metal plates 8 and 7. The upper and lower metal plates 8 and 7 are combined into a heater unit 12 by being brought into contact with each other at the peripheral portion 9 and combined so as to conduct heat, and the heater unit 12 is composed so as to make contact with a heating plate 1.
