PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dimension control method in a grinding machine for correcting the variation of the finishing dimension of a work caused by the variation of the grinding load in through-feed grinding. SOLUTION: This dimension control method in the grinding machine controls the finishing dimension of the work to be approximately uniform to each other through a process (S1) for measuring a grinding load by the electric current or electric power of a driving motor rotating and driving a grinding wheel, and a correcting process (S2) for advancing or retracting the grinding wheel to the work on the basis that the grinding load reaches a predetermined set value, when the through-feed grinding is performed on the work by the grinding wheel.
