A method for including frost protection in buildings has the foundation plate (7) laid on an insulating layer (6) and surrounded by a vertical insulating layer (1) from the top of the foundation plate to below the ground frost level. The vertical layer butts onto the horizontal layer with no thermal gaps. The structure is reinforced by an outer vertical support layer (2) topped by a surrounding frame of reinforced concrete (4) which accommodates the horizontal spreading forces of the structure. An outer cladding layer (3) completes the structure, either as a thin layer or as an outer thermal layer, for extreme climates.
