PURPOSE: A method for remotely inputting information in a mobile terminal is provided to modify or input electronic pocketbook information, such as a user's terminal's memorial day alarms, morning call, event management, etc., or password information, in case that a user loses his mobile phone, in a remote place. CONSTITUTION: In case that a user controls his mobile terminal using a remote terminal, the remote terminal attempts a call connection to the user terminal. If the call connection is made, the user inputs a password through the remote terminal. In case that the inputted password is identical to a password for the execution of a remote control function, the user terminal transmits remote control function items to the remote terminal. If the user selects one of the transmitted function items, the selected item is transmitted to the user terminal. The user terminal transmits the sub items to the remote terminal. If the user inputs or modifies desired information through the sub items displayed at the remote terminal, the inputted or modified information is transmitted to the user terminal so that it can be stored or modified at the user terminal.
