PURPOSE: An on-machine-measurement system is provided to perform the measurement at the working on the machine to manufacture a precious product to change the working condition according to measurement results. CONSTITUTION: An on-machine-measurement system is composed of an on-machine-measurement module(100) for generating the shape and information of the measured objects and displaying measured results calculated with the position/shape tolerance of the objects, a computer-aided manufacturing software(110) for generating a part program using the shape and information from the module, a numerical controller(120) for receiving the part program, performing the numerical controlled operation and supplying data corresponding to the positional information of the objects for the module, a feeding drive(130) for feeding the measuring unit to the objects according to the feeding commands from the part program, and a programmable logic controller input module(140) for inputting the measured signals to the numerical controller on contacting the measuring unit to the objects.
