NICKEL PLATED ELECTRODE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nickel-plated electrode appropriate as an object for aluminum wire bonding, in which strength of wire bonding is enhanced while variation in strength is reduced.

SOLUTION: An electrode matrix is plated with nickel to provide a nickel-plated electrode in which surface glossiness of nickel plating is at least 1.6 or more and surface roughness of it is Ra0.2 μm or less. The thickness of nickel plating is preferred to be at least 2 μm.
