<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing apparatus and an image forming apparatus equipped therewith capable of restraining temperature rise and maintaining high image quality and stable density. <P>SOLUTION: The developing apparatus 2 for developing an electrostatic latent image formed on an electrostatic latent image carrier 1 with developer is provided with a plurality of developer carriers 20 and 30 for carrying developer.
