<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transceiver cage whose life is made longer by improving the durability of an elastic piece. <P>SOLUTION: A case 1 comprises an opening 7 on the front surface for housing a transceiver module while comprising a top plate 2, a bottom plate 3, a back plate 4, a first side plate 5, and a second side plate 6. At least one elastic pieces 8a and 8b protrude from inside the case 1 and on the back plate 4 side toward the front surface by a prescribed distance. A locking member 9 retains the transceiver module housed in the case 1 against the forces of the elastic pieces 8a and 8b. The transceiver cage protects the transceiver module where the transceiver module is locked with the locking member 9 while it is removed from the transceiver cage by unlocking it. The elastic pieces 8a and 8b comprises at least one bent parts 12a, 12b, 12c, and 12d provided between a first bent part 10 at the end on the back plate 4 side, a second bent part 11 at the end of the protruding side, and the first and second bent parts 10 and 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
