METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING THREE-DIMENSIONAL SHAPE MOLDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a three-dimensional shape molding which can efficiently conduct a removing work by a tool and can prevent the tool from being damaged or worn and to further provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a three-dimensional shape molding which can detect a fault when the fault occurs at a cutting tool during a removing step of a surface part of the molding by a molding removing means mounting the tool.

SOLUTION: A step of replacing the tool 6 mounted on the molding removing means 5 with a tool 6 of a different type is inserted into the step of removing the molding. The means 5 has a tool mounting part 7 for detachably mounting the tool 6. Each time the tool 6 is replaced, at least either the shape of the tool 6 mounted in the state in which the tool is projected from the mounting part 7 or the projecting length 1 of the tool 6 from the mounting part 7 is inspected by an inspecting means 8.
