<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card charging system for television receivers which enables an electronic commerce using many television receivers installed in many rooms, and subtracts an amount of used money in the electronic commerce from an IC card. <P>SOLUTION: A charging terminal 3 connected to a television receiver 2 is a card charging system 1 for subtracting a first amount of used money corresponding to a broadcast time of the receiver 2 from an IC card. A common receiving equipment 4 comprises a controller for receiving an internet connect request from the television receiver 2 and many set top boxes each for making the television receiver 2 connected to the controller indicate a Web browser. The controller has a second receiving means for receiving a second amount of used money in an electronic commerce by the receiver 2 from a portal site server, and a second transmitting means for transmitting electric signals converted readably by the charging terminal from the received second amount of used money to the charging terminal.
