<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor in which data processing operation is continuously executed without interrupting it when an external memory is replaced. <P>SOLUTION: In the case that data, for example, such as moving images are recorded in the external memory 18a by inputting them from an input part 14, when a state that the data can not be recorded is caused by a capacity shortage of the external memory 18a or the like, inputting data is written by temporarily utilizing an internal memory 16. When a new external memory 18b is mounted, a reservation region corresponding to a data amount written in the internal memory 16 is secured in the external memory 18b, the data in the internal memory 16 are transferred and recorded there, and at the same time, the recording operation of the data is successively executed by recording the inputting data continuously in the reservation region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
