<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device low in manufacture cost, high in manufacturing yield and capable of achieving high quality display, and a driving method of a display panel. <P>SOLUTION: An organic EL display 1 is provided with an organic EL display panel 2, pixels P<SB>i, j</SB>are arrayed in a matrix shape on the organic EL display panel 2 and the pixels P<SB>i, j</SB>are provided with organic EL elements E<SB>i, j</SB>and pixel circuits D<SB>i, j</SB>. The organic EL display panel 2 is driven by a data driver 3, a selective scanning driver 5 and an oscillation circuit 6. The pixel circuits D<SB>i, j</SB>hold the voltage of a level according to a gradation specifying sync current level flowing to a signal line Y<SB>j</SB>in a transistor 23 when cyclic signals become a low level during a selection period and make the driving current of the level according to the voltage level of the transistor 23 flow to the organic EL elements E<SB>i, j</SB>when the cyclic signals become a high level in a non-selection period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
