<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate an internal normal position element of a camera easily and associate survey information obtained from a survey device with image information on a survey site obtained from the camera easily and efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: An overview image of a survey site is taken by a digital still camera 20. Eleven reference points (reference points P<SB>1</SB>, P<SB>2</SB>, P<SB>3</SB>and the like) are specified on the overview image. Positions of the reference points (P<SB>1</SB>, P<SB>2</SB>, P<SB>3</SB>and the like) are surveyed by a survey device 10 such as a total station or the like. A position/inclination and an internal normal position element such as distortion of the digital still camera 20 against the survey device 10 are calculated from the positions of the surveyed eleven points on the actual space and the positions of the points on the overview image. Arbitrary survey points Q<SB>1</SB>, Q<SB>2</SB>, and Q<SB>3</SB>in the overview image are surveyed with the survey device 10. Positions corresponding to the points Q<SB>1</SB>, Q<SB>2</SB>and Q<SB>3</SB>are displayed on the overview image from the position/inclination and the internal normal position element of the camera 20 and the correspondences are recorded on a recording medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
