摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and simply form a desired tilt angle between light which is incident on or emitted from an optical device and an optical waveguide. SOLUTION: An optical transmission mechanism is equipped with an optical waveguide having an end surface slanting to the optical axis of the incident or emitted light. The optical waveguide is manufactured through the processes of: forming a groove part conforming with the external shape of the optical waveguide on the main surface of a base substrate 1, filling a resin 3 for the optical waveguide in the groove part, and sticking a sticking substrate 2 on the main surface; and making a temporary pattern 5 abut on an exposed surface 31 exposed on the end surface of the base substrate 1 simultaneously with or before or after the sticking process to form a waveguide end surface 32.
