PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for acoustic adjustment layer which is excellent in mechanical strength and can hold sensor properties stably for a long period, its manufacturing method, and an ultrasonic sensor which has the member for an ultrasonic adjustment layer. SOLUTION: The member for an acoustic adjustment layer contains foaming glass for its main component, the manufacturing method for the acoustic adjustment layer is performed by mixing glass with foaming material and sinking them, and also the ultrasonic sensor has an acoustic adjustment layer consisting of the above member for an acoustic adjustment layer.
