PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanner controller which can make it difficult for other users to confirm or use the contents of destination information set by each user. SOLUTION: The scanner controller for transmitting a scan mail as an e-mail about an original document converted into image data can store the destination information to each user therein, and require the user to enter his password in order to display the contents of the destination information about the user (step S102).
