PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a TF decision apparatus in which potentiality indicating different TF to the same data is reduced to improve TF decision characteristics. SOLUTION: A TFCI narrowing part 15 validates all TF of all TrCH in the case of connection and when any TrCH becomes a TTI boundary, a TFCI decision part 12 excludes TFCI including invalid TF from candidates and decodes a TFCI. A data decoding part 13 determines the TF of the TrCH to become the TTI boundary from the TFCI decoded result and decodes data. The TFCI narrowing part 15 judges a CRC from the data decoded result in the data decoding part 13 and when the judged result is 'OK', the TF of the TrCH which is not the TTI boundary is determined from the current TFCI and the other TF is invalidated. The TrCH to be the TTI boundary may adopt the other TF in the next frame, such that the TFCI narrowing part 15 validates all the TF of the TrCH in the TTI boundary. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
