PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive provided with a function by which a read-error caused by a frequency variation part of recorded data generated by contact of a head and a disk can be restored effectively. SOLUTION: When occurrence of a read-error, PLL parameters of a PLL circuit 105 included in a read-channel are changed, and a disk drive provided with a CPU 13 performing retry operation is disclosed. The CPU 13 changes the PLL parameter through a PLL control circuit 106 except the retry parameter required for normal retry, and restores the read-error caused by a record part of frequency variation on the disk.
