PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable and easy-to-use information apparatus by increasing a transmission rate at recording, space efficiency of a recording medium, and reducing load of a CPU. SOLUTION: A host CPU 13 determines whether or not an information signal received by the unit is animation information, from instruction input by a user accepted through a key operation part 14 or information included in the received information signal. When it is the animation information, through a media controller 10, for example, FAT information of a hard disk 11 selected as a recording medium is referred to for detecting blanc block including a plurality of clusters, and the animation information is recorded in units of the detected blanc block.
