PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder capable of recording an image having no white streak without lowering a throughput. SOLUTION: Recording data corresponding to a failure nozzle 15 is added to an adjacent normal nozzle 16, recording data corresponding to the failure nozzle 15 is masked and then recording is performed based on the recording data added to the normal nozzle 16 and the masked recording data corresponding to the failure nozzle 15.
