PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slab cutter made of an inexpensive and easily-available soft metal. SOLUTION: In this slab cutter provided with shanks 3 on both end parts of a body 2 having a plurality of twisted blades 1, an outer peripheral part 6 of the body is made of a hard metal 9, the inside of the outer peripheral part is made of the soft metal 10 softer than the hard metal, and the twisted blades are formed on the outer peripheral part.
