PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher/dryer with improved efficiency for ultrasonic mist generation when washing water is vibrated with ultrasonic waves. SOLUTION: The dishwasher/dryer comprises an ultrasonic mist generating means mounted inside a washing tub for generating ultrasonic mist by vibrating water fed by a water supply means with ultrasonic waves, the water supply means, a heater, a circulation means, and a control means for controlling the ultrasonic mist generating means and a dryer means. The control means controls the heater to heat water in the washing tub prior to the generation of the ultrasonic mist by the ultrasonic mist generating means, and controls the ultrasonic mist generating means to generate the ultrasonic mist after that.
