摘要 <p>An arrangement for welding thermoplastic pipes (1, 2) using a friction welding technique comprises a pipe robot (24) that can be driven inside the pipe, a drive unit and a control unit for moving the friction welding mandrel (3) along the inner wall of a pipe. A press unit (4) locates the friction welding mandrel on the pipe to be welded. An arrangement for welding thermoplastic pipes (1, 2) using a friction welding technique comprises a pipe robot (24) that can be driven inside the pipe, a drive unit and a control unit for moving the friction welding mandrel (3) along the inner wall of a pipe. A press unit (4) locates the friction welding mandrel on the pipe to be welded. The mandrel has a rotatable carrier mandrel (5) with a guide pin and the carrier mandrel is pressed against the pipe wall using a piston-cylinder unit or a spring.</p>
