<p>Novel GAVE8 polypeptides, proteins, and nucleic acid molecules are disclosed. In addition to isolated, full-length GAVE8 proteins, isolated GAVE8 fusion proteins, antigenic peptides and anti-GAVE8 are provided.The invention also provides GAVE8 nucleic acid molecules, recombinant expression vectors containing the nucleic acid molecule, host cells into which the expression vectors have been introduced and nonhuman transgenic animals in which GAVE8 gene has been introduced or disrupted are described. Diagnostic, screening, and therapeutic methods utilizing GAVE8 compositions or molecules binding GAVE8 also are provided. Methods for identifying GAVE8 agonists, antagonists, inverse agonists and the like are described.</p> |
