The propulsion module for an omnibus, and especially low-floor omnibus, has a drive unit (5) with an engine and transmission, a support frame (1) for at least one auxiliary unit such as a radiator and fan (8), and installation means to connect the drive unit and auxiliary unit to the body of the vehicle. The support frame has at least two engine bearing mounts (2) upon each of which is fastened an engine bearing (3). The engine bearing mounts are fastened to the frame of the vehicle. The auxiliary unit and drive unit are fitted on the support frame as a preassembled unit (6).
