<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating container for a microwave oven, which is suitable for cooking such as rice cooking and steam cooking, using the microwave oven, and a package for microwave heating, wherein an article to be heated is housed in the heating container for the microwave oven. <P>SOLUTION: The heating container C for the microwave oven, which is equipped with a container body 1, an inner lid 2 and a top lid 3, is provided with an inner-lid fixing means 41 for fixing the inner lid 2 to a prescribed position inside the container body 1, and a pressure adjusting means 31 which is arranged in the top lid 3 so as to keep a pressure inside the container body 1 at a prescribed pressure.
