PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reduce the power consumption in a seismometer while increasing the memory capacity for recording detection data by mounting a plurality of storage mediums without depending on the capability of the CPU of the seismometer. SOLUTION: This seismometer comprises a driver 9 for switching a connecting state so as to enable the connection with the CPU 3 and the supply of detection data recording power only to the storage medium 8 which performs the recording of detection data based on seismic vibration of a plurality of storage mediums 8 provided on this seismometer.
